Wiki Mania
So, I’ve been working on a Wiki.
I’ve been working on this for a while (over a year, actually), and for a while I’ve been a little frustrated by my progress. However, I realized I was making a critical mistake: I was waiting to release it until I was finished with it. Wikis are really never finished, so if I kept with that brilliant strategy, the site would never be released. So I’ve changed tactics: I’m releasing it now, in all of it’s incomplete glory.
I give you, the load balancing wiki project: lbwiki.com
Highlights from the inaugural release:
- Test HTTPS/SSL sites with openssl utility
- The 4-step NAT process for load balancing
- SLB Network Architecture Overview
- How Direct Server Return works
- Do you really need Gigabit?
As new sections of lbwiki.com get added, they will likely be announced here, so keep an eye out.

I think you have missed another critical point. What ever happened to collaboration?
June 19th, 2008 at 3:18 pmFor right now, I’m disabling collaboration. I was actually getting Wiki spam when collaboration was open, and I haven’t yet figured out a method for others to collaborate that makes sense for what I’m trying to do. So for right now, it’s disabled.
