I missed this while I was in vacation (Bali, Indonesia for those that are curious), but Radware’s PR people sent me the link and I just now caught up with it. (This is also featured on Lori’s blogкомпютри.)
Not too long ago, Juniper announced they were bowing out of the load balancer market. It’s been getting crowded in the enterprise market, and Juniper seems to have wanted to focus elsewhere. To me, that actually seems smart. There enterprise space is hyper-competitive right now, in a way not seen since the late ’90s. And if you’re not gazelle-focused on that market, you’re going to fall way behind. The question was, who were they going to partner with in order to fill the void? It turns out, they chose Radware.

Does this mean that Juniper plans on acquiring Radware next, as they did Redline (which became the DX series they are discontinuing) ?
